Skilldrive developed general and customizable crawling engine working and indexing all types of data such as html pages, documents, images. We started to create this software for our new website Dotnetjob.com which will be presenting all articles, events, projects, and jobs suitable for .NET professionals helping them to monitor everything around .NET.

Skilldrive uses and supports Lucene engine on its own projects as Dotnetjob.com, running  www.lucene.cz or some specific customer's solutions (real estate monitoring and indexing, indexing of goverment's websites etc.). We're able to host crawling & indexing application customized for your needs and automaticaly parsing unstructured data into fully structured tables and fields in your Microsoft SQL Server. Our crawling service plus DotLucene will give you open solution which can be customized for any language and type of data available on the internet. So let's start to build your own google box!

Skilldrive members are lead developers of the Phalanger project. ASP.NET platform is very strong but what is it missing is a huge pool of applications and components as PHP community provides. Software testing is usually considered as something that is finished when unit tests are implemented and we pass requirement tests too. But is it ok? This session was presenting testing as more complex mathematical division using statistical methods to improve quality of software products.
Software testing is nice but not so easy as it seems at first sight.
